Notion follows the inquiry-based teaching and learning methodology guided by the IB curriculum framework. This framework does not only focus on “What to Learn”, additionally the IB standard is structured to focus also on Taught Curriculum ‘How To Learn’ and Assessed Curriculum where IB students are only assessed on the basis of their assignments and class participation. Teaching and learning in the IB celebrates the many ways people work together to construct meaning and make sense of the world. Through the interplay of asking, doing and thinking, this constructive approach leads towards open, democratic classrooms. An IB education empowers young people for a lifetime of learning, independently and in collaboration with others. It prepares a community of learners to engage with global challenges through inquiry, action and reflection

Why is the IB different?

International Baccalaureate® (IB®) programmes aim to do more than other curricula by developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed.

We strive to develop students who will build a better world through intercultural understanding and respect. IB® programme frameworks can operate effectively with national curricula at all ages; more than 50% of IB® World Schools are state-funded.
