Our Scholarship program offers opportunities for exceptional students to reach their full potential at Notion International School.
Notion International School offers scholarships for select grade levels of the Middle Years Programme (MYP 2, 3, 4, 5) and the Diploma Programme (DP1 and DP2).
The Scholarship requirements and process are as follows:
Complete the online scholarship application form.
Submit last year's academic report signed and stamped from the previous school.
Submit a behavior report signed and stamped from the previous school.
Take Notion International School grade-level entrance exams, based on the school year the applicant is enrolled in. Successfully completing and passing the entrance exams is mandatory for qualifying for the scholarship.
Applicants and parents/legal guardians are required to sit for an Interview with an admissions committee.
Present any extra documents that can boost the aplicant's eligibility of the student for the program.
The percentage of scholarship discount is awarded to the student according to his /her scores in the criteria of evaluation.

B) Evaluation Criteria for MYP:
Examined in the group subjects as follow:
- English Exam: Comprehension & Creative Writing (cognitive writing), with a focus on the open-ended questions - high level of thinking skills???
- Math Exam: Age appropriate - Reflection on real life situation.
- Arabic Exam: Comprehension & Creative Writing

The following should be maintained in order to keep the scholarship discount:
Exams: The student should achieve the same level of grades in all subjects in semester1 exams, and final exams for DP1, and in pre mock and mock exams for DP2.
Course Work: The student should maintain the high standard achievement in the course work ( Assessments, Quizzes, & Tests)
Meeting deadlines: The student should meet the deadlines in the delivery of all tasks (Extended essay, TOK, CAS, and IA).

Students who wish to apply for a scholarship at Notion International School should have the below traits:
A well-rounded person: this could be indicated by hobbies, sports, volunteering in different events
Personal development: Participating in events, courses and competitions.
Language: Excellent command of English language
D) Fees:
The scholarship is awarded on a yearly basis to students who have shown high academic achievement, behavior and attendance. The scholarship discount is divided into different categories based on the level of academic excellence.
- To maintain the same deduction percentage according to the scholarship category schedule, the student must continue to meet high academic standards.
- Throughout the academic year, if the student fails to maintain the qualifying standards, they will be relegated to the lowest scholarship discount level corresponding to the schedule.
- The evaluation for the scholarship will take place annually for all Notion students to award the most deserving students the opportunity for a scholarship discount
Academic Performance
The student should maintain the grades required as per the scholarship criteria of the school
Behaviour and Attitude
The student has to keep an excellent record throughout the year, generally, good behavior refers to students adhering to the rules and regulations of their educational institution and displaying respectful conduct towards teachers, staff, and fellow students. This includes avoiding disciplinary actions, maintaining a positive attitude, and engaging in responsible behavior both inside and outside the classroom.
Attendance
10 excused days of absence during the year. In which, attendance requirements typically involve students attending their classes regularly and punctually. It is essential for scholarship recipients to prioritize their education and demonstrate consistent attendance, as it indicates their commitment to learning and maximizing the opportunities provided by the scholarship.
The following fees are excluded from discount:
The resources fees.
Activities fees.
The IB examination fees in grade 12 and the certificate legalization
Bus fees.
Uniform fees.
Any extra fees during the year that are applied for the whole school.
