Notion at a Glance

Notion International School was founded in 2015 with a devotion to education. Located in Mariotteya, Feisal District, Giza, Notion was founded to pioneer The International Baccalaureate in Egypt. Notion International School aimed to teach children by building on the knowledge they already have – primarily exhibited through play. We believe teachers help children learn by creating a rich environment to explore via exciting educational activities. With high standards of education and an exposure to the through open ended play-based experiences children flourish, and grow to love their school, taking pride in belonging to a community, and to contribute to the intellectual growth, and eventually becoming global citizens of the world.

Primary Years Programme

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a curriculum framework for students aged 3 to 11 that aims to develop students as caring, active, and lifelong learners. It  offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum that builds conceptual understanding and connects knowledge across subjects. 

It is is one of the four programmes offered by the International Baccalaureate (IB) and accredited  at Notion International School.

Middle Years Programme

The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a curriculum framework for students aged 11 to 16 that aims to develop them as challengingactive, and lifelong learners. The MYP focuses on the whole student as an inquirer, both in the classroom and in the real world.  

The MYP also fosters the development of the IB learner profile attributes, which are qualities that help students become responsible global citizens

The MYP is one of the four programmes offered by the International Baccalaureate (IB) and accredited  at Notion International School.

Diploma Programme

The IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a two-year educational programme for students aged 16 to 19 that aims to develop them as   well-rounded,   knowledgeable, and    inquisitive   learners.  

The IBDP curriculum consists of six subject groups and three core components: studies in language and literature, language acquisition, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics, and the arts. 

The IBDP aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge, who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically, and who are open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective.
